Access Mod is a fully
modular
Web
Audio
synthesizer
designed
for
creative
sound
design,
real-time
modulation,
and
accessibility.
This
manual
explains
how
to
navigate,
control,
and
patch
the
synth
using
a
keyboard,
screen
reader,
or
pointing
device.

Slider Controls
Sliders are fully operable
by
keyboard
for
precise
or
rapid
adjustment.
Arrow keys (←
→):
Fine-tune
by
1
step
per
press.
Shift + Arrow
keys:
Faster
adjustment,
10
steps
per
press.
Shift + Control + Arrow
keys:
Very
fast
adjustment,
100
steps
per
press.
Press 1:
Snap
slider
to
minimum
value.
Press 2:
Snap
slider
to
maximum
value.
Press 0:
Reset
slider
to
default
value.
All slider changes
are
announced
for
screen
readers
using
ARIA
live
buttons.
Full MIDI Support
and
Mapping
Access Mod includes
full
MIDI
controller
support.
You
can
map
hardware
MIDI
knobs,
sliders,
or
buttons
to
any
available
parameter.
MIDI Learn
Mode:
Click
the
map
button
in
the
CC
Mapper
section
then
move
a
control
on
your
MIDI
device
to
bind
it
to
the
selected
parameter.
Mapped parameters are
fully
accessible:
- - Moving a MIDI control
announces
the
updated
parameter
value
to
screen
readers.
- - MIDI mappings persist
through
patch
saving
and
loading.
- - Both keyboard users
and
pointer
users
can
perform
MIDI
mapping.
Drag-and-Drop Patching
Patch module outputs
to
inputs
using
the
keyboard
or
a
pointing
device.
Pick up an
output:
navigate
to
an
output
and
press
P
key.
Drop to an
input:
navigate
to
an
input
and
press
P
again.
Outputs can be dragged
with
a
mouse
as
usual.
Outputs and Inputs
are
clearly
labeled
and
fully
keyboard
accessible.
Preset Management
Save Preset:
Enter
a
name
and
save
your
current
patch.
Load Preset:
Select
a
saved
preset
and
apply
it.
Export Presets:
Save
presets
to
a
file
(.json).
Import Presets:
Load
presets
from
a
file
(.json).
Presets save all slider
positions,
patching,
module
settings,
and
color
choices.
